- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole kernel corn, creamed corn, melted butter, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth and well combined, about 2-3 minutes.
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- Pour the mixture into the dish and spread it evenly.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is golden on top and bubbling at the edges.
- If the top isn’t browning as desired, place it under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
Serving
- Remove from the oven, garnish with freshly chopped parsley or green onions if desired, and serve warm.
