  • 1/2 cup milk Whole milk preferred for richness, 2% can be used as well
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Grate your own for the best melting results
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled Use your favorite type; thick-cut is recommended
  • to taste salt and pepper Season generously to enhance flavors

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish or quiche pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth, about 2 minutes.
  3. Gently fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and smooth out the top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  6. Let the quiche cool slightly before slicing into wedges. Serve warm.

Notes

Allowing the quiche to cool creates cleaner slices. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
